Daniel started with the Iowa Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country teams in 2023. Prior to Iowa, Daniel was at the University of Washington working as a Football Research Intern Athletic Trainer. He earned his BS in Athletic Training from Marquette University in 2020 and his MS in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University in 2022 while serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Men's and Women's Track and Field team. Daniel is NATA BOC certified and licensed by the state of Iowa Board of Athletic Training. He is certified in American Red Cross Basic Life Support. Daniel is holds certifications in Myofascial Decompression and ART Lower Extremity.

Daniel is a native of Granger, IN and currently lives in Tiffin with Sarah, his wife, and their dog Daxton.
