Dylan Mathers


Dylan became a member of the University of Iowa sports medicine staff in May of 2023. She works as an assistant athletic trainer with the University of Iowa football team. Prior to working for Iowa, Dylan spent the 2022-2023 season with the New York Jets football team as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer. She graduated with her Master’s in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan in 2022. While at Michigan she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Michigan football team. Dylan completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska where she majored in athletic training. She is a NATA BOC certified athletic trainer and licensed by the Iowa Board of Athletic Training. Dylan is a NATA and CATS member and certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Dylan is also lower extremity certified by ART. She is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska and enjoys spending time with her family whenever she can, especially her two nephews Cash and Jet.
