Carver-Hawkeye Arena (CHA) Athletic Training Room is one of eight fully functioning, versatile athletic training rooms on the University of Iowa campus. Traditional therapies include whirlpools, hot and cold units, rehabilitation weights and equipment, Power Lift column and rack, Keiser column, elliptical, and unweighting treadmill. Other therapeutic equipment available for the student-athlete includes ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, and external compression units. It is equipped with an examination and procedure room  for physicians to conduct evaluations that includes a portable c-arm fluoroscope and ultrasound imaging. Preparation activities, medical care and rehabilitation are provided for the men's and women's basketball, volleyball, golf, rowing and wrestling teams.
