Woodroffe completed pediatric residency at the University of Iowa. She is a native of Iowa. She completed undergraduate work at Augustana and medical school at the University of Iowa. Her husband, Royce, is a resident in the neurosurgery department at the University of Iowa. Academic interests include preventative care and the female athlete triad.
