Jake Feldman

ATHLETIC TRAINER (BASEBALL)
Biography
Feldman joined the University of Iowa Sports Medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in 2019 and serves as the head athletic trainer for the Iowa Baseball team. 
 
Before joining the Hawkeyes’ staff, Feldman worked as an athletic trainer and lecturer at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There he worked with the football, women’s basketball, and softball teams along with being an instructor for multiple classes within the CAATE accredited athletic training program. Prior to Coe, Feldman was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Valparaiso University where he worked with the football and baseball teams. Feldman earned a Master of Science degree in sports administration in 2018 from Valparaiso University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in athletic training, sports performance, and coaching from Coe College in 2016. In the summer of 2015, he served as an Intern at the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center in Rochester, Minnesota.
 
Feldman clinical interest include ulnar collateral ligament injury mitigation, complex shoulder pain, and return to throwing. He is certified in CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, dry needling practioner, Active Release Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Smart Tools Blow Flow Restriction, Primal Reflex Release, and Fascial Abrasion Technique. 
 
Feldman, an Adel, Iowa native is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Board of Certification certified and licensed through the Iowa DIAL (Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing).
