Max begins his first season with the Iowa Cross Country/Track & Field Team in 2025. Prior to this position he was working with the University of Michigan Cross Country/Track & Field program. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Health Sciences from Buena Vista University in 2022, followed by his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Florida International University in 2024.

Max is a native from Clarion, Iowa and is BOC Certified and licensed by the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing. He is a member of NATA and certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and AED for Profession Rescuer. Max holds certifications for, Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Mental Health First Aid, and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
