Biography

 

Mederic M. Hall, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with subspecialty training in sports medicine, who specializes in diagnosis and treatment of tendon disorders and other sport related musculoskeletal problems with a special interest in the endurance athlete.

He is an internationally recognized expert in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and ultrasound guided procedures and is the Director of Musculoskeletal and Sports Ultrasound at University of Iowa Sports Medicine. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has been an invited presenter at over 50 national and international conferences.

He has many national leadership roles included the Vice-Chair of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine Sports Ultrasound Committee and elected to the Board of Directors for the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. He is a team physician for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes and the U.S. Ski Team.
