Tori Ghilardi
ATHLETIC TRAINER (TRACK & FIELD AND CROSS COUNTRY)
Biography
Tori joined the Hawkeye Sports Medicine Staff in July 2024 as Assistant Athletic Trainer with Cross Country and Track & Field. She comes to Iowa from Dominican University of Illinois, where she served as Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Director of Athletics, providing medical care to all fourteen athletic teams.
A Wisconsin native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2016. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Illinois State University in 2019, while working as the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Soccer team.
Tori is certified through the BOC and Licensed by the Iowa DIAL Board of Athletic Training. She is a member of the NATA and is certified in CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. She also holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Graston M1 Technique, Upper Extremity Active Release Techniques, and Integrative Dry Needling.
Tori lives in Iowa City with her husband, Andy, and their cat, Karl.
